She is currently interested in multiferroic systems where these two material properties may be combined. She is also passionate about physics education and beginning to dive into the work of education research with a special interest on instructional labs. She loves trivia, has a Bragg diffraction tattoo, and once cam in second place on Jeopardy! and won the bonus round on Wheel of Fortune.
